Again More Picures from the Land

This is me singing in Cesearea Martima (by the Sea). It is an old Roman theatre that still is used today.
This picture us of the group in front of the Eastern Gate in Jerusalem. We had to bribe a gaurd to let us in. This area is covered with Muslim graves so they don' t like Christians coming in. There was a school group of boys cleaning up trash and things. They made it very difficult for us and they were not very nice. They made a big group and made us walk through single file and they were hitting people with shovels and poking us and things. It was a little bothersome.
And this is Me in front of Corrie Ten Booms tree in the avenue of trees for the Rightous Gentiles in Yad Vashem which is the Holcaust Museam in Jerusalem. These trees are planted for Gentiles who helped the Jews during WWII.

Even More Pictures from the Holy Land

Here we are swimming in the Jordan River. It was more like sitting and holding on for dear life. The water was rushing so fast. I can understand why the Israelites were afraid to carry the Ark of the Covenant over the Jordan for fear of dropping it. It was very refreshing as this day was a scorcher. This was a much needed cooling for all of us!
This is me sitting on Roman toilets! You know like where they went to the bathroom? These were found in the city of Bet' Shean. This was a large Roman. It is also the place where after the death of King Saul and his sons, they were hung in the city on a wall for all to see.
This is a doorway from Bet' Shean.

Here was a camal. The little boy in the back who is walking towards me was the owner. He would bring this camal to places where there would be tourists and you could get rides. This was the boys source of income. Here is Mrs. Morrell, Charity Brower and I on the womens side of the wailing wall looking towards the mens side. We were watching Bar Mitzvahs that were going on that day. It was very interseting. This was a sad place to be. It really showed (is that a word?) the blindness of the Jews. They live in the land where Christ lived and yet they can not see the truth.

More from the Holy Land

This picture is taken on the shore of the Mediteranian Sea by the city of "Ceaseria by the Sea"
This picture is of from left to right Arie Bar David (our wonderful guide who is a Jewish believer!), Zvi Kolisher (A survivor of the Holicaust from Poland who now lives in Isreal and is a believer) and myself.
This is a picture of me taken in the Hinnom Valley also known as Gehenna which is a word for Hell. It used to be the garbage dump for the city of Jerusalem. At the end of each day they would light the garbage on fire so it seemed that there was always a fire here. That is where it got it's name Hell. It has since been turned into a beautiful park where we at lunch one day.
This picture is of Mrs. Morrell and I in one of the water falls at Ein Gedi. This is the place where David ran and hid from Saul. Saul came looking for David here and was sleeping in one of the hundreds of caves. David found Saul while he was sleeping and cut off a piece of Sauls garment.

This is a picture of is floating in the dead sea. I put up another one because the pictures from the last post were so small. Sorry about that.

Israel Pictures

Alright after much work here are a few pictures of Israel. I hope to get more up soon. The picture that says "Yad Sarah" was taken because I was excited about a place with my Hebrew name. The one of us swimming or should I say "Floating" is from the Dead Sea. The Picture of me is taken on the steps of the temple that Christ would have walked on. The picture of the group was taken on the temple mount. We were able to go up there for about 45 min. one day. It was very exciting to go up there and see how large it really is. It seems so much smaller from pictures and things. I can understand how every one could come to Jerusalem to the temple now. It was a beautiful sight to see. Of course it was sad to see the Muslim dome there. It was also sad to see the Jews worship the place the way they do. They won't even go up there because to them it is still "Holy Ground". It was a sight that brought tears to the eyes to see the way they are blinded to the truth.

This stinks

I have been trying to put pictures of my trip up but this computer is being a pain right now. I think that it is tired after all, it is 2:52 am. I am singing in church in the morning so I should probably get to bed. I will try to get some pictures up again in the morning.

I guess I didn't understand

Okay, it has been a really long time since I updated. I am boring. I guess I thought that I had to post pictures with every post that I make. I guess I didn't really understand. So here are a few updates on me:
About 3 weeks ago I finished working at Pillsbury because school is over. I will not be returning.

I just got home Last Friday from a 2 week trip to Israel. It was amazing and I will hopefully have pictures to post very soon.

I am now working as much as I can at Dominos. I am short on cash right now because of my trip. It was very spendy and I carelessy did not take vacation hours for it. I was not really thinking.

Last but not least, I am moving on July 26th to the island of Saipan. I was hired to teach music at Eucon International school but instead I will be teaching 6th grade. When I found this out I was scared out of my mind. How am I going to teach these kids math? I don't even know what they learn in math in 6th grade. I always thought that math was not very important. I just figured I would learn the very basics really well and then I could forget the rest because I would never need it again. I mean who really knows why we had to figure out story problems, YUCK. Now, I will be teaching story probelms, SCARY!!!!!!!!

So I hope to have pictures up soon from Israel. And I will keep you up on the Saipan thing.
